Dicuss about Four-Phase Common Mode Choke

The four-phase common mode choke is a four-terminal device, which founded by a nanocrystalline magnetic toroidal core as a common mode interference suppression device, four sets same size, same turns numbers coils wound symmetrically. When the common mode current flows, the magnetic flux in the magnetic ring superimposes each other, resulting in a considerable inductance, which has a suppressing effect on the common mode signal showing a large inductance, and can effectively keep the common mode interference signal in the balanced circuit.

Coilcore focus on CMC choke production with skilled experience. When we make common mode inductors, we try to meet the following requirements:

1. The coil wires wound on the magnetic core are insulated from each other to ensure that no breakdown short circuit occurs between the turns of the coil under the action of instantaneous over-voltage.

2. When the coil flows through a large instantaneous current, the magnetic core does not saturate.

3. The magnetic core is insulated from the coil to prevent breakdown between the two under the action of transient over-voltage.

4. The coil should be wound in a single layer as much as possible to reduce the parasitic capacitance of the coil and enhance the ability of the coil to respond to instantaneous over-voltage.
